The mission of the Austin Symphony BATS (Be At the Symphony) is to provide Austin music lovers with an opportunity to celebrate the symphony.

The BATS are a group of young professionals (25-44 years old) who come together to attend the Symphony, make new friends and have a great time. Regardless if you’re a novice or a veteran to symphonic music, we hope that you will take a little something from each experience with us.

After each performance, the Symphony BATS hosts a private party at some of Austin’s most exclusive venues. Membership socials and other fun events are also planned throughout the season.

The BATS are in our 10th season, and are one of the social organizations of the Austin Symphony. Our main purpose is “to promote the Symphony and to bring together good people to share the experience.”

We are a non-profit organization and we do not fund-raise. Our purpose is solely to promote involvement and enjoyment of the Symphony
